Ventisette is Italian for twenty-seven.
My grandmother passed away on the 27th. Since then, the number has shown up in nearly everything that matters to me and my family, and I believe it's her way of letting us know she's still watching over us. Putting the number on my work means a promise to build things like she's watching: carefully, honestly, and the right way, even in the parts nobody else will see.
